Started in Rio, spent New Years with friends in Sao Paulo, then flew to Manaus for almost a month in the Amazon, made my way down the coast of the northeast, from Belem to Salvador, and after soaking up sun along the coast, soaked up carnaval in both Salvador and Recife/Olinda.
