The Rembrandt House Museum is a house in Jodenbreestraat in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where Rembrandt lived and painted for a number of years. It is now a museum. Rembrandt the greatest Renaissance painter bought this house in 1639. He lived in it for a while, but his heavy debt forced him to sell it and move to a more modest apartment. The house is, to this day, very impressive, and exhibits hundreds of the artist's paintings, and many drawings.
