Dubrovnik

Destination creator (Voyajo Team)

Dubrovnik  is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea coast positioned at the terminal end of the Isthmus of Dubrovnik. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic, a seaport and the center of Dubrovnik-Neretva county (...) (from Wikipedia).

So smitten was the poet Lord Byron with Dubrovnik that he eulogised the one-time city-state as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. Backed by steep limestone crags to the rear and fronted by the sublimely blue waters of the Adriatic, this perfectly preserved oasis is encompassed within sturdy medieval walls, which house a cocktail of baroque churches and palaces.
