| Day 1 5th June, Tuesday... Arrive from Rouen and settle in. Visit the tapestry, depicting William the Conquerors invasion of Britain in 1066. The battle of Hastings museum houses the tapestry then visit the old town with its narrow streets and bistros. Visit the Bayeux cathedral after dark when it is illuminated.

Depart Bayeux to go to Amboise on Friday 7th June. Time permitting go to Saint Mont Michel. (1/1/2 hours drive) Then another 3 1/2 hours to Amboise. |
