It is now a pleasant city, famous mostly for its large mosque (the Mezquita), the Jewish Quarter and the Muslim Quarter in the Old City. You can visit both, walk in narrow alleys, and enjoy the city's unique atmosphere. It is highly recommended to have a peek into gardens, as the city's patios, the courtyards and balconies adorned with flowers are famous for their beauty.
