Sorrento (Neapolitan: Surriente) is a small town in Campania, southern Italy, with some 16,500 inhabitants. It is a popular tourist destination which can be reached easily from Naples and Pompeii, as it lies at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line (...) (from Wikipedia).
Piazza Tasso Square : a very famous,happening, hotch potch place . Loads of restos, bars, pubs, shops, full of tourist, having drinks, eating and watching tourists.. indulge in the Italian way of life.
Drinks are not cheaper but compared to hotels Yes they are cheaper:), do lil bargaining, be aware of scooters on the road :)
Don't forget that Sorrento is the Limoncello capital of the world - a liquor made from lemons. Limoncello Crema is a creamy version of the straight-up Limoncello that you may like if you'd prefer a less-stiff drink. If you don't try it, then you've not been to Sorrento!
